A sensory-friendly performance is designed to create a safe and welcoming theatre experience for patrons who may be on the autism spectrum or have challenges with sensory processing and stimulation.
At this time, sensory-friendly performances are only available for select productions. If you're not sure whether an upcoming production has a sensory-friendly performance, just check the show's page on our website -- it will be listed there!
A sensory-friendly performance is specially designed for children and adults with sensory/stimulation sensitivities, autism or other developmental or cognitive disabilities, as well as their families and caretakers. We promise a judgement-free and fun experience for the entire family! All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Yes, all individuals are welcome! As noted above, this performance will have specific alterations with individuals who have sensory or stimulation sensitivities in mind to create a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment. These changes do not necessarily adhere to traditional theatre etiquette, so as long as ticket buyers are aware of this fact, all are encouraged to attend!
Of course! We want you and your family to be comfortable. Feel free to bring your fidgets, seat cushions, blankets, and headphones into the theatre.
Yes, upon leaving the theatre, an usher will direct you to the lobby or restroom. With the help of an usher, you can be re-seated throughout the performance.
Yes! Our concession stand sells cookies, candy, popcorn, and Coke products (including Minute Maid lemonade and Dasani water). Concessions are available for purchase before the performance and during intermission. No outside food or drink is allowed inside the theatre.
At the end of the day, this is up to your discretion!
All of our productions have a rating of 1-4 to help parents decide what is an appropriate show for their child. Learn more about our production ratings
