We are excited to announce the nine shows in our Mainstage and Stage Door series for the 50th Season! This season is filled with a line up of familiar and new shows that will excite all parts of our community.

Finding Nemo, JR.

Stars of Summer | July 10-13, 2025


Marlin, an over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his son, Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. When Nemo is captured and deposited in a Sydney aquarium, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. Full of songs that’ll remind you to “Just Keep Swimming,” this is a story of family, friendship, and adventure.

hadestown: teen edition

Young Adult Theatre | July 31-August 3, 2025


Following the two intertwining love stories of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice and immortal King Hades and Lady Persephone, Hadestown: Teen Edition is a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by American folk and vintage jazz, this beguiling musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love.

the odd couple

Mainstage | September 5-7 & 12-14, 2025


Two suddenly single pals, one a sloppy sportswriter and the other a neurotic neat freak, strain their friendship when they turn into roommates. In Neil Simon’s comedy classic, the original “Odd Couple” of Felix and Oscar navigate life, love, and tidiness in this humorous exploration of personal boundaries and the human condition.

Sweeney todd

On the hunt for a corrupt judge that stole his wife, wrongfully banished barber Sweeney Todd will stop at nothing for vengeance, so he forms an unlikely partnership with Mrs. Lovett, who serves up the worst pies in 19th century London underneath his former shop. Together, they wreak havoc on Fleet Street and serve up the hottest—and most unsettling—pies in London. 

the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe

Acting Up | November 21-23, 2025


Enter the wardrobe with Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter and journey to Narnia, where the lion Aslan battles the White Witch for control of their magical land. Can Edmund resist the Witch’s temptation? Can Peter slay the evil wolf? And who will be crowned the new ruler of Narnia? This story of love, faith, and the triumph of good over evil is a celebration of the wonders of childhood and life.

One man brings over thirty of Charles Dickens’s most memorable characters to life in this breathtaking adaptation of the timeless holiday classic. This nationally-touring production performed by Dick Terhune spins the redemptive tale of Ebenezer Scrooge as he reckons with Christmas ghosts of past, present, and future.

It’s 1923 in an English country house, but no one here will mind their upper-crust manners. Sylvia and Beau are in the midst of their yearly rendezvous, which Sylvia hopes will be the beginning of their new life together. But when Beau demurs—and their spouses arrive at the cottage—a web of secrets unravels in this ridiculous tale of sex, betrayal, and oh yes…love.

Marian Princess of Thieves

Acting Up | May 1-3, 2026


This retelling of the story of Robin Hood focuses on all the girl power that is Maid Marian! Commissioned by Community Players specifically for our 50th Season, playwright Tommy Jamerson (Choose Your Own Oz, Once Upon a Pine: The Adventures of Pinocchio) brings his humorous voice and sense of adventure to the CP stage for this world-premiere production! 

ANNIE

Mainstage | June 4-7 & 11-14, 2026


With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone she meets! Determined to find the parents that abandoned her years ago, it’s adventure after adventure for Annie as she foils the evil Ms. Hannigan’s machinations, explores 1930s NYC, and even befriends President Roosevelt, all before finding a home and a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks.
