EDUCATION
The STAGE DOOR is the backstage entrance to a theatre, a door that actors, techies and all those who make theatre possible first enter to begin their work. STAGE DOOR is also the for all of CP's youth and educational programming. We offer a diverse array of activities for students and adults. Check out the programs below and learn more about the quality educational opportunties offered by CP where there truly is a STAGE FOR EVERYONE.

ACTING UP

ACTING UP is a program targeted for students in grades 5 through 8. Students learn all aspects of production and culminate each semester with a family-friendly production. Participants are accepted to this program through an audition process with an enrollment limit of approximately 30 students, to provide a more customized learning experience.

STARS OF SUMMER

STARS OF SUMMER (formerly the Beatrice Children's Theatre) is a summer theatre program for students ages 8 to 15. Rehearsals are held during the day with a major production staged in late July. This program accepts all students who enroll and is a great way for students and their parents to become involved with theatre!
