We want to see you at the theatre!
The past year has been challenging for everyone, particularly businesses and organizations that rely on bringing people together for shared in-person experiences. That is why we are so excited and hopeful about the upcoming 2021-2022 Season at Community Players. It’s time for all of us to reconnect!
Think of next season as a “reboot.” Just like your computer or phone works better after you shut it down and restart it when something goes wrong, Community Players has taken advantage of the past year to reset and reinvigorate many aspects of the organization. This includes:
- Touchless features added to the lobby restrooms
- Air scrubbers installed in the HVAC system (think of it like very fancy air purifiers)
- Renovations to the dressing rooms
- Several other behind-the-scenes upgrades and organizational projects
That means we are poised to REFRESH, REVIVE and RENEW our community through the arts!
This season sees several much anticipated (and postponed) shows taking our stage. Revel in familiar stories and tunes with musicals like “MAMMA MIA!,” “ELF,” and “FROZEN JR.” Rediscover classic stories (and board games) at “CLUE,” “THE THREE MUSKETEERS,” and “CHARLOTTE’S WEB.” Reveal laughs as we continue our commitment to premiering new shows with the comedies “POPCORN FALLS,” “DESPERATE MEASURES,” and an original show “FOREST PATHS.”
Community Players would not have survived the past year without the backing of our community. Following our safety protocols, the community supported our modified programs (including our streaming content). Knowing how essential the arts are to rebuilding and reconnecting our communities, donors and other funders made generous investments in the theatre.
It is nearly time to fully re-engage in person and share the unique experience that only live theatre can provide. We are ready to safely gather to share laughs, applause, and connections. We want you to be part of it all – purchase a 2021-2022 Season subscription now!
See you at the theatre!
