About
the
show:
Welcome back to the Reel ‘Em Inn fishing lodge, where the Wilburns must kick their bad habits to save their marriage, all while contending with an egotistical radio guru, an anxious retiree looking to let loose his “inner caveman,” and a nun that’s more than she seems! And that’s not even to mention their entire crazy family, the biggest storm Arkansas has ever seen…oh, and an axe murderer!
Farce of Habit is a sequel to our 2023-2024 show Farce of Nature. All available cast members from the original production are reprising their roles or taking on new ones as the script demands. As such, we are only casting one male role and one female role for this production. Depending on audition turnout, the female role being filled by a new actor will either be Sister Myrtle Agnes OR Barb Stratton; the male role being filled by a new actor will either be Jock McNair OR Huddle Fisk.
JOCK McNAIR – (Male, 40s-50s) A handsome, macho, self-centered womanizing radio personality that is both running from his responsibilities and his soon-to-be-ex-wife.
HUDDLE FISK – (Male, 30s-50s) A kind, meek man that is the personification of a plaid suit. Extremely odd and just looking to get away from it all for a bit.
SISTER MYRTLE AGNES – (Female, 50s-60s) A stern, driven nun that takes no guff from anyone.
BARB STRATTON – (Female, 40s-50s) A determined bundle of nerves that flails about in her almost otherworldly loud clothing.
