Theatre accepting nominations for 2021-22 Board positions
Community Players is currently accepting nominations for individuals interested in serving on the organization's Board of Directors.
Board service information:
- Board consists of 12 members.
- Terms are for 3 years, with term limits of 2 consecutive terms.
- Board members are officially elected at the annual membership meeting in July.
- Monthly board meeting - typically lasting between 60-90 minutes. Meetings are currently held on the third Monday of each month beginning at 6:30 p.m. (Virtual attendance is allowed)
- All board members must purchase a season ticket at some level each year.
- This is a working board. Members are expected to serve on at least 2 committees or production positions and participate in fundraising events as needed.
- The board is not directly responsible for production work, though individual members as part of their committee duties may be required to ensure individuals are available to implement the work of the organization.

Individuals can nominate themselves or someone they feel would be an asset to the organization.
Please note that completing a nomination form does not guarantee election to the Board. The nomination committee recommends a slate of potential members based on the skills and connections currently needed by the organization.
